Using Catna

You may use Catna for personal, lawful purposes. By using the service, you agree not to abuse, interfere with, or intentionally undermine its voting, submission, moderation, or security systems.

• Do not submit hateful, threatening, harassing, private, unlawful, or impersonating material.
• Do not submit material that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
• Do not submit photos or stories you do not have permission to share.
• Do not submit images primarily depicting other people, particularly minors.
• Do not automate votes, submissions, uploads, scraping, or attempts to bypass service limits.
• Do not attempt to interfere with Catna's security, availability, moderation, or voting integrity.

Your submissions

You keep ownership of content you submit to Catna.

By submitting a photo, story, name, or other content, you give Catna a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, process, reproduce, display, and share that content as reasonably necessary to operate Catna, display the submitted page, create previews or thumbnails, and promote Catna or the submitted content.

This license does not transfer ownership of your content to Catna.

Moderation

Submissions are not guaranteed publication. Catna may edit formatting, decline, hide, or remove submitted content when reasonably necessary for moderation, legal compliance, security, or operation of the service.

Catna may retain limited private moderation records as described in the Privacy Policy.

Voting

Catna votes are informal entertainment. Results are not scientific research, a representative public survey, professional advice, or a reliable measure of broader public opinion.

Catna may reject, remove, limit, or disregard voting activity that appears automated, duplicated, abusive, or intended to manipulate results.

Availability and changes

Catna may change features, remove content, perform maintenance, or temporarily or permanently discontinue parts of the service. Continuous availability is not guaranteed.

No warranty

Catna is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While reasonable care is taken to operate the service securely and reliably, Catna does not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or free from data loss.

Removal and rights concerns

If you believe content on Catna violates your rights, or if you want content you submitted to be reviewed or removed, contact [email protected] and identify the relevant page or submission.

Catna's collection, use, retention, and deletion of data are described in the Privacy Policy.
